	Luxembourg Esch sur Sure tree amongst ruins of castle tweaked BG.jpg (Earth Views) Bruno says: Esch sur Sûre is a small village (town by Luxembourg's standards) in the north of Luxembourg. It used to be a fortress in the Middle Ages. On an elevated position, inside the curve of a U-bend in the river Sûre, thus having the river on three sides and forested hilltops on the fourth, it must have been a nightmare for any invading army.
