  • routemaster = RM, RML, RouteMaster Lengthened, bus, doubledecker = The Routemaster is a lovely old bus; the iconic London red doubledecker in many minds. Designed in the 1950s to replace the London trolleybus fleet, it was still in heavy use more than fifty years later beyond the turn of the 21st century, regardless of many of the buses in service being 30 or 40 years old compared with a design life of 15 years! See the Routemaster Association and read "The Routemaster Handbook", Andrew Morgan, Capital Transport Publishing 2001, ISBN 1-85414-237-2, or "The Bus We Loved", Travis Elborough, Granta 2006, ISBN 1-86207-885-8.

  • bus trip = journey

RML903 as at end 2000 had registration number WLT903 and was owned by Metroline, resident at Holloway garage, and still with the original AEC engine. RML903 was on route 10 from Hammersmith Bus Station to Archway Station; this contract (with 23 buses) expires 2004/08/21.

RML means RouteMaster Lengthened, and the 524 RMLs were made between 1962 and 1968.

RML903 is the former Finchley garage showbus.
