Shabab Oman means Youth of Oman in Arabic. This superb barquentine is used by the Navy of the Sultanate of Oman as a training ship and as an ambassador to other sailing nations. Under full sail, she is one of the most elegant ships on the water. As a regular of tall ship races, she has been admired in many a European port.

About This Category
Tall ships (ie largely wooden boats with sails and rigging!) and associated material. This collection exists largely thanks to Bruno (BG), since I remain unable to tell a sloop from a tug.
