Flowering shrubs; guelder rose, dogrose, rosa regusa, yellow buddleia globosa, Flowers; ox-eye daisy or marguerite, dutch clover, foxgloves, goosegrass or common cleavers, bird's foot trefoil, common st john's wort, lots more buttercups in the meadow. Fruit appearing; quince, gooseberries, redcurrants, raspberries, greengages, plums, cherries, apples, pears, blackberries.
Birds; jay, woodpigeon, dunnock (looked a bit like a sparrow), robin,
blackbird, crow.
Manure delivery, finished keyhole bed and planted pumpkin, marigold (calendula), beans, tomatoes. Planted rosemary and sage behind keyhole bed. Planted wild garlic fairy ring next to pooh corner. |
