Cham Gelchidi aka Çam Gelçidi is a mountain pass near Şavşat (Shavshat).   Every summer the people return to these ramshackle wooden homes from far and wide.   There are even some who have emigrated to Europe (e.g. Germany and Belgium) who return to these homes anually.   This photo was taken in late spring (snow can still be seen in the background), but some of the houses were already occupied.
