It was copied by dad into an exercise book at school, when he was perhaps 8 or 9 - i.e. around 1916 - apparently as a writing exercise, incorporating one useful fact and some school rules. Adrienne embroidered it on to a cushion for a present for dad (perhaps his 70th birthday).
