 | party end smoky warm colours multiple shadows dreamy BG.jpg (Food and Drink) Bruno says: This photograph was taken at the end of the wedding party of a friend of mine. I took the photograph by setting the camera on a small tripod, selecting a long exposure (a few seconds) and overriding the flashgun settings to have it fire at the end of the exposure rather than the beginning. The long exposure caught the cigarette smoke drifting in the room, giving it this blury aspect, as well as the multiple shadows and colours cast at unusual angles by the lights of the dance-floor. The final flash captured the table and chairs, the two people and the discarded streamers on the floor. Incidentally, the photo lab didn't charge me for this image because they thought it was an mistake. |
